Get involved

Local people have shaped the history and landscape of The Blean for thousands of years. From archaeology and wildlife through to practical conservation, there are plenty of ways to support The Blean and its woodlands. Join a local group, actively volunteer for The Blean or come to a local event.

Practical volunteering is a great way to get fit, meet like minded people and learn about your local environment. The tea and biscuits aren’t bad either. See the volunteering link on the left for details.

Local groups include;
Blean Heritage & Community Group  and RSPB Canterbury Group
Many more may be found within the parish pages to the left.

Also by becoming a member of Kent Wildlife Trust, RSPB or The Woodland Trust you are helping to conserve our wildlife and special places for future generations to enjoy.
